Come to know the permanent collection of the Museum of Montserrat, formed by six groups of artworks: Ancient painting, Modern painting and sculpture, Archaeology of the Ancient World, Nigra Sum (iconographic evolution of Our Lady of Montserrat), Religious precious metal work and Phos Hilaron (Greek and Russian icons).

The Museum of Montserrat’s sculpture and painting collections include a wide period of time, from ancient paintings to Modernism, Noucentisme and vanguard movements like Cubism. We propose you to know the main works of the museum, so that you will discover the history of art with significant artists like Dalí, Caravaggio, Picasso, Casas or Rusiñol.

A walk around the archeologist collection following the steps of P. Bonaventura Ubach, founder of the first Museum of Biblical Eastern World at Montserrat. You will discover Egypt, Mesopotamia, Holy Land, Cyprus and the Classical World.
