Looking at the funeral and cult objects exhibits in the museum and with the help of graphic media, we will deepen knowledge of ancient Egyptian civilization.

Objects from Mesopotamia, Egypt and the Classical World illustrate the great ancient cultures of the Mediterranean. We will live archaeology at the time that Father Bonaventura Ubach formed the archaeological collection that you can see today at the museum.

Long ago, some cultures settled in the area of the Mediterranean Sea, and they converted their distinct cultural traits on the basis of formation of great civilizations. It is the time of the birth of writing, the expansion of trade and monumental buildings.

In this visit we'll learn basic aspects to be able to interpret a painting: technique, colour, composition, and we’ll discover perceptible details with close observation.

This tour through the museum follows the path of art time to time, starting from the Gothic to the avant-garde movements. We’ll recognize the major artists and movements and we’ll understand the evolution of materials and pictorial genres.
