It is one of six artistic pairs brought together specifically for the "Unexpected Visits" project during Art Week, which celebrates its third edition this year, organized by the Art Galleries of Catalonia (GAC) association, featuring around forty associated venues. The Museum of Montserrat is participating for the first time in this initiative, open to the public until January 12.
"Unexpected Visits" consists of placing six artworks from the holdings of the Art Galleries of Catalonia alongside works in another institution for a few weeks—in this case, with pieces from the permanent collection of the Museum of Montserrat. The aim is to allow works from various disciplines and artists from different generations that share thematic elements or belong to the same field to share a space, fostering a dialogue between them.
