Bring me to the land in a drawing introduces us to the recognizable universe that illustrator Ignasi Blanch has built over the years: a body of work marked by a personal language that combines the strength of drawing, the poetic density of the image, and a remarkable capacity for evocation.

The exhibition allows us to approach some of the major themes that run through his work, especially memory and the relationship between reality and imagination. Beyond the diversity of techniques, formats, and commissions, Blanch maintains a way of drawing and observing that makes his work immediately identifiable.

The tour does not aim to define his production in a definitive way, but rather to observe how certain elements appear in a recurrent and meaningful manner. Through his drawings, we discover how the artist transforms experiences, memories, and impressions into his own visual language, capable of condensing memory, emotion, and imagination.

Each drawing becomes a fragment of reality that the artist fixes onto paper to make it endure.
